NO VAN HALEN STORE HERE BECAUSE AMAZON DOESN'T PAY - GOOGLE DOES!!!

It made no sense to have a Van Halen store supported by Amazon for several reasons.

You see around the site, Google AdSense ads aplenty.  These pay for click through visitors to Google's paying advertisers.  These PAY!

Amazon ads DON'T PAY!  I swear, out of tens of thousands of visitors to this site, who have clicked the ads that Google has honestly reported to me, I have been paid for those clicks like I should.  Amazon?  Pfff.  All the visits this site received and NEVER, not ONE TIME, EVER did Amazon report to me that someone clicked through my ads and bought.  Now, Google reporting indicates on days when I get more revenue from the same amount of clicks on the previous day, I know someone BOUGHT something.  Now what's that tell you?  It speaks volumes; Google pays, reports honestly; Amazon doesn't.  Does it make any sense, whatsoever, that people click through and buy and I get paid by Google but that zero, not one, ever, single person bought from one Amazon widget?   It's nonsense.

Now, to wit, there is a greater reason to remove all Amazon widgets: they are insecure!  Hackers can get into them and pages connected to them because you put your site at risk using an Amazon widget.  I will keep Google ads up.  I will never put another Amazon ad up.

I get people SOLICITING me to sell things I don't sell all the time because this site is what it is.  That tells me the site gets found, which I know from seeing the logs.  Also from seeing the logs I know people went nearly as much to Amazon links as Google.   Google pays day in and day out for years, Amazon keeps every penny and never paid me one red cent.  It's insulting.

IIf you see what look like duplications (i.e. Van Halen I) it is because one is a CD and one is an MP3 or one is a Van Halen book and one is a Van Halen kindle.
